ABOUT USThe East Bay Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization staffed soley by volunteers dedicated to supporting musical education, appreciation, and performance. Founded in 1976 as the Piedmont Music Foundation, the Foundation was originally formed in response to a need for performance opportunities for music students in the East Bay. Today, EBMF continues to provide performance events and venues for young musicians with the East Bay Music Festival solo piano competition, now in its 43rd year, and a relatively new venture, the Chamber Music Festival.
